OEM and ODM Snorkel Gear: From Your Logo to the Retail Shelf

OEM and ODM diving gear explained: what can be customized — colors, logos, materials, packaging — the project flow from sample to shipment, and why in-house molding matters.

What OEM and ODM Mean for Diving Gear

OEM means the factory produces its existing designs with your brand: your logo, your colors, your packaging. ODM goes further — the factory develops a new mask shape, fin blade or color program around your market's needs. Brands, importers and chains use both routes; the difference is mostly who owns the design and how much sampling is involved.

What We Customize In-House

• Colors: skirt, frame, blade and mouthpiece colors from your Pantone references.
• Logos: pad printing, laser marking and molded-in logos on masks, snorkels and fins.
• Materials: silicone grade, lens type, tube and blade compounds matched to your price point.
• Packaging: retail boxes, hang tags, instruction sheets in your languages, barcodes.
• Sets: mask-snorkel-fin combinations packed per your assortment plan.

The OEM Project Flow

Send a reference product or drawing and the target price; receive a quotation and a schedule. Pre-production samples follow — typically within days, since all molds are in-house — then approval, mass production, and third-party or in-house inspection before shipment. Reorders reuse the approved spec, so the second order is a purchase order, not a project.

Why Mold Ownership Matters

A factory that molds its own silicone skirts, frames, tubes and blades — rather than buying parts — controls both the timeline and the consistency between orders. Color drift between production batches is the classic OEM complaint, and it happens when suppliers mix parts from outside vendors. Ask any prospective factory: which parts do you mold yourself?
